Restorative Dental Hygienist
At Toronto Smile Design-Yorkville Dental, Irene is a self-initiated Registered Dental Hygienist who has her specialty licence, as a Restorative Dental Hygienist. Irene has been working in dentistry for over 15yrs, and is dedicated to supporting and educating patients on their individual needs in restorative and preventative dentalcare. Irene will be sure to treat and maintain your beautiful smile through various dental cosmetic treatments, such as, veneers, crowns, composite bonding, professional teeth whitening, fillings to treat cavities and routine dental hygiene therapy.

She participates regularly in dental education courses, so she is always ready to deliver the most up-to-date, evidence-based dentalcare to her patients. With her warm chairside manner and working alongside Dr. Johnson, Irene is committed to creating an experience that focuses on making your dental appointment comfortable and enjoyable.

When she’s not at the clinic, Irene enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, traveling the world.
Yeojin Hwang R.D.H.
Dental Hygienist
Yeojin is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
She began her career in dentistry since 2012 as a dental hygienist in South Korea and has continued to expand her knowledge through ongoing education and professional development in Canada.
Also, she successfully passed the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE), demonstrating her commitment to advancing her clinical knowledge and meeting the high standards of dental hygiene care in North America.
With a gentle chairside manner and a commitment to evidence-based care, Yeojin strives to make every dental visit comfortable, educational, and personalized. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them maintain healthy smiles for years to come.
Outside of dentistry, Yeojin enjoys traveling, experiencing musicals, and spending time with family. She loves Korean cuisine and believes in the quote, “After all, tomorrow is another day.”

At Toronto Smile Design - Yorkville Dental, Klae serves as our dedicated treatment coordinator and front desk ambassador. A proud alumnus of George Brown College's Health Sciences program, she embarked on her journey with us in 2019.
With a rich background in the hospitality sector, Klae excels in cultivating strong relationships and ensuring every interaction, be it in-person or over the phone, is both welcoming and uplifting. Passionate about patient care, she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure comfort and understanding. Drawing from her extensive knowledge of dental procedures and treatments, Klae expertly navigates patients through their tailored plans, providing both clarity and a boost of confidence in every step of their dental journey.

With a background in the legal field, Amy brings a passion for advocacy, communication, and helping others feel confident in their decisions. She believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, informed, and comfortable when it comes to their dental and overall health.
Amy loves building genuine connections with patients and getting to know the people behind the smiles. She takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and cared for. Being involved in her community is also important to Amy, and she brings that same sense of compassion and connection to her work each day. Her goal is simple: to make every patient’s experience a positive one and ensure they leave with a smile.

Pilar is originally a Civil Engineer from Cuba, and now a beloved member of our team! Pilar's journey to becoming a dental assistant has been a remarkable one. She arrived in Toronto and pursued a second career at TCDHA to become a certified dental assistant.
Pilar's vibrant personality and unwavering kindness have made her a favourite among our patients. She approaches dentistry with enthusiasm, always eager to learn and grow in our innovative environment.
When she's not assisting patients, Pilar enjoys spending time with her family and tending to her garden during the warmer months. Her passion for her work and her radiant spirit make her an invaluable part of our team. We're delighted to have Pilar as a dental assistant for our patients.
